Luciana Rosato BSc, MA, MCP
I’m an American therapist who has lived in Paris for almost a decade. I have degrees in Public Health from American University in Washington, D.C., l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique in Paris and a Masters of Psychology from the University of Paris. I have an Argentinean background, and am fluent in Spanish as well as English and French.
I have previously worked in international organizations such as the OECD in Paris and the Ministry of Health in Argentina, as well as in hospital and clinical settings in countries such as Kenya and France. These opportunities have given me insight into what it means to understand individuals in their context and all their complexity.
The common problems I treat in therapy include:

-
Depression
-
Anxiety and worry
-
Stress
-

Managing health conditions and chronic illness

Additionally, my training in Health Psychology has allowed me to gain a unique perspective on the connections between mind and body. My aim as a therapist is to create a safe, collaborative space rooted in empathy, authenticity, and non-judgement. I am passionate about using the latest evidence-based research to help clients improve their mental health and communication skills in order to see a genuine difference in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, and draws upon psychotherapy models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Structural Family Therapy, and Mindfulness. I strive to provide clients with an informed and affirming therapy where they can feel heard, fulfilled, self-aware, and empowered. Regardless of what life may be throwing your way, it would be a true honor to help you improve the quality of your relationship with yourself and with others.
